London Bus App Reviews

Simple schematic map of the major bus routes. The same as the one they give out at tube stations, but easier to carry. When you ask it to give directions from point to point, the recommendations can be somewhat odd, but its easy to figure out for youself by looking at the map. I had hoped to find a map like this for free (like you can for the tube), but Im glad to have it at 99cents. Update: doesnt reflect route changes made in August. So not very useful when Im in London now, trying to use it. Dropping from 4 to 2 stars.

This is not what I expected, it has only the main bus lines, not all. Very disappointing, and not particularly helpful!!

The map has only a fraction of all bus lines. The bus line list is not clickable : what is its purpose? One would home to be able to see a bus route map!! The concept is good though. A bit more work and it could deserve five stars. Useless until then.

This app only covers a small portion of London and not useful at all to a local.

All bus routes should be accessible. If possible by grid.

The app only covers a small area and that was NEVER disclosed during the purchase flow. Horrible.

The primary difficulty was that this program did not contain a full selection of the numbered routes. However, it was easy enough to interpolate using those that did exist and the information provided at the stops. The developer should make an increased effort to ensure the information is up-to-date and inclusive. Of the several apps for this purpose that I got, this one was the more useful for bus informaton. Although not perfect, it did provide useful information. Route planning was somewhat limited, and the explanations took some getting used to, but I did get useful information from it.

Doesnt have all the London bus routes. Im sitting here watching the number 49 bus go by, wondering where it was going.
